White tiger thinking activity

1) Narrative structure:-

Both have a novel structure, a novel and a movie similar. In the novel, Balram saw the poster and remembered his past. Like the movie Jamal, there are questions on the screen in the KBC show and it is going to be past in response to that. The first scene in the film begins with the police station and the novel police is searching for Balram. He described the condition that the knee policemen make mistakes for writing about it. So in both, the situation is working parallelly and the Flashback system is the same.

2)Indianness
In the movie and novel the picture of India is presented. Many things in both are same about India.

Slum area

The novel Balaram describes the Slum area in India. How people live in poverty and poverty, etc. It is the reality of Indian poor people. In the film we can find the real condition of poor people who live in the slum area. They have no basic and essential things to live on. So both existing real India.

Family structure

Balram explains the Indian family and their problems in the novel. India has a dozen children in India and they all live together. The movie also has a picture of the Indian family. It represents the idea of वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्".

Education system

Balarama could not complete his education due to poverty. It speaks about how the education system and how the teacher corrects. In this movie we can see the real picture of Indian education system.

  Police system

In the novel Balram commits adultery at the police system in India. They are rich people and politicians and how they are doing corruption. They make a mistake about the poster of Balram. The director also commits adultery in the film.
Other issues that are similar in both, are intuition, poetic justice differences between two brothers, knowledge and understanding.

3)List of the questions asked in the film 'Slumdog Millionaire'

Most of the questions are related to his past like he was big fan of Amitabh Bachchan and he was asked about his famous movie Zanzeer, so he was definitely known about that film. 4)Deconstruct the film with reference to post colonial tools / theories.

Colonial post presented by writer and director in other people's mindset about India. The director represents the reality of India and shows the scene of foreigners in India. The condition of Indian people and foreigners is quite different. The novel describes the poor India as a professor of Chinese in Balarama. Most of India's visitors still have a brain about poor India. They always describe India as a poor and dirty country .Most of the Indians are still lifestyles and other things about them and dislike other things that are Indian.

For example,
Recently English professor of English MKBU came to visit and found dirty places everywhere. It represents the mentality of other people.

5) Compare with Texture and Treatment of subject content in film and novel.

The story of the novel and description about India in the film is similar. The texture of the movie and the novel is similar to corrupt India, poor villages, darkness, fraud etc. This is a common solution for both class and cast system. It represents the prosperity and poverty of the people. Balram and Jamal are a poor family while the landlords and rich classmates of Mumbai have a similar life.
India's single texture is represented in both. Treatment of the subject is similar in both.

6) How many do you agree with India, presented in the novel "The White Tiger"

It is a reality about the nation that is presented in India by Adi. People still live in slums and some day they can not get food once for a day. People of this village, family and their beliefs, all these things are represented by Adiga. He mentions the school's corruption system and harassment of landlords, which is not a fake but a reality. The poor become more poor and become rich. Authors like Chetan Bhagat, Arvind Adiga, they represent the situation in India.

7) Do you believe that the story of Balram is the main form of all the stories of 'Chintra wealth'?

Balram's story is the story of things like wealth like Jamal's character in Slumdog Millionaire. Balram lives poor life in his childhood and leaves his education. He became an entrepreneur car car driver and then found a way to become rich. He decided to kill his owner Ashok and ran with Ashok to the money. After killing him, he left the village and became a businessman with a changing identity.
